# What "role level" is required to both read expectations and checkpoints from GX Cloud?

hello, just getting started with GX Cloud. setting up the org access token that would be used by a pipeline runner like Airflow etc. what “Role level” is required to both read expectations and checkpoints from GX Cloud and write validation results to GX Cloud?

you may set your token to editor or admin. Both roles will be able to read/write those operations.
