What is it?
You can now provide your credentials to GX Cloud and connect directly to your data, without using the GX Agent!
How does it help me?
Adding a Data Asset in GX Cloud is now as simple as entering your Snowflake or Postgres credentials! You no longer have to set up or run the GX Agent in order to begin validating your data.
How does it work?
Direct connection is now the default setting for GX Cloud accounts. If you’re new to GX Cloud or haven’t used a GX Agent in the last 90 days, you don’t need to do anything special to access this feature: just log in!
If you’ve run the GX Agent in the past 90 days, your account will not be changed.
Is it secure?
Yes! GX Cloud connects directly in a read-only fashion, using secure and encrypted methods.
